So far O ambassadors has been nothing but a success, Since 2006, almost 2,000 O Ambassadors Clubs were formed in schools across 47 states in the United States as well as all 10 provinces and two territories in Canada! But that isn't stopping them, they are just getting started! More than $1.1 million were raised, to support development initiatives around the world! the O ambassadors are GREAT example of how a dream can become reality and it just starts from one person!

All around Canada girls in the Miss Teen Canada World 2010 pegeant are writing about where they come from, and what makes where their from so special.
I'm Terra Lynn Bodnar, and I'm from Saskatoon Saskatchewan in Canada. I've always come from Saskatchewan born in Rostern just a few miles out of Saskatoon, but not to long after i was born moved to the city (Saskatoon). Couldn't be more happy to have most of my memories of growing up been taken place in my hometown Saskatoon, now I'm so pleased to be going to Toronto to have to chance to represent my city in the Miss Teen Canada World 2010 competition. Memories from Saskatoon will never been forgotten even from when i was a child, whether it was going to the Forestry Farm zoo, to see all the animals or even just going for walks with my family and enjoying the scenery. I've always loved going for walks exspecially when i got old enough to go alone i would sneak away and go down by Saskatoon's Pride and joy our river! A stream of water the runs threw our city separating one side of the city to the other. People come from all over the city with their families or even just by their self's to come walk or run and get peace and serenity even within the city.
Most popular spots, are train bridge where you can go up and walk across
the train bridge and get a higher view of our damn that attracts many birds of all kinds coming to feed off the nutrients and creatures our river possesses.
Our Newest attraction still being build and finished,
is our river landing project, its beautiful and
ties the city together making it a peaceful
and relaxing place along our river.
Saskatoon is a city filled with art from all kinds of artists from sculptures, to painters or even graffiti artists, all their art has brightened up out city and made it even more beautiful.
On Sunday June 13Th at 9:30 am, i attended the the Walmart walk for miracles not only was a walker but as a volunteer, the walk started off with a dance from the youth ambassadorsfollowed with the mascots from McDonald's, children's hospital and from fritolay (cheetos the cheetah)
Everyone gathered laughed and clapped as the children brought us to our next topic, The top fundraisers from all OVER Saskatchewan!
Followed by an introduction of our mayor and some information why we were all gathered to do the walk together.
The mayor cut the ribon and the race begun!
Your choice of 1km, 2km or 5km!, Course i did the 5km. it wasn't a race or of any sort a competition. it's just for fun!
After the walk, a band played music while everyone ate and enjoyed the beautiful day in the sun!
hightlights for the day were getting my picture with the hamburgalar!
today, May 30th at 9:30 - 1 pm i attended the JDRF Telus walk to cure diabetes as a representative and as a contestant for the walk. Ailey (miss teen Saskatchewan) and i, had our own booth and were signing autographs for the kids (and some older people).
I had alot of fun! the opening cermony was heart touching but also crowd pumping, after some opening stetches and the children ambassators cut the ribbon while Ailey and I held it, the walk begun and everyone made there way threw the starting line.
The walk was pleasant other then the occasional drop of rain. The walk accually for me seemed pretty short, you get lost in the beauty of saskatoon, while walking down by saskatoon's pride and joy, our river...
After having such a great time today, I can't wait to get involved again! :D
